AR Links System Welcomes NWARG

NWARG_logoThe Central Arkansas UHF Group (CAUHF) is pleased to announce our affiliation and linking agreement with the Northwest Arkansas Repeater Group (NWARG).  This repeater group is led by Jason Brisco, N5NBJ, in Harrison.  We will soon establish UHF link of 96 air miles between our 443.200 AR Links System hub on Shinall Mountain and their 443.050 NWARG repeater which is located in Marshall.  The Marshall repeater is linked full time with other NWARG repeaters located in Harrison, Ridgeway and Omaha  (see table below).  NWARG coverage extends all the way into Branson, MO.  We had hoped to have the link established by March 1 but, as most of you know, we have experienced an over abundance of inclement weather in the past few weeks.

Visit N5NBJ’s web page at http://n5nbj.webs.com/nwargrepeaters.htm where you can see photos of all of their repeaters, towers and antennas.

Here are just a few names and callsigns belonging to the Northwest Arkansas Repeater Group:

KF5BRU, Jack Nelson; KF5IRZ, Billy Passmore; KD5DLJ, Denny Johnson; N3QL, Edward Alspaugh; AJ5C, Robert Herrell
